Hit Waves Little Big Band , a dynamic 11-piece band, celebrates the hits of the Big Band Era & the Songs of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and more recently Michael Buble! Offering superbly executed vintage arrangements as performed by Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Harry James, The Dorseys, Count Basie, Artie Shaw, etc. as well as a complete catalogue of Standards featuring the works of legendary songwriters: Berlin, Porter, Rodgers & Hart & Hammerstein, Cahn & Van Heusen, Julie Styne, the Gershwins and their peers, this is a band not to be missed!
They performed at the De Young Museum for the Grand Opening of the "Birth of Impressionism: Masterpieces from the Musée d’Orsay" exhibition, performing 2 nights in a row for the Museum's largest contributors.
Hit Waves also perform at various public music series around the Bay Area, as well as the Grand Opening of the Pebble Beach Food And Wine Festival.
